Everything you ever wanted to know about natural health food and more!
If there is more than anything that we could love more than we do ourselves, it would be our children. Can you remember the first time you saw your baby? It was a joyous moment and you swore to yourself that you are going to take care of him or her and do whatever you can to protect her from anything that can harm him or her. But have you ever considered that what you are feeding to your child may be doing all the harm?
We give our child everything that we can, fragile as babies are, we give them warm clothes, we child-proof our homes, we buy monitors so that we could check on them all the time, but most of the time, we just give them powdered milk and what we think would be fresh fruit and vegetables.
Sure they are fresh, we thoroughly wash and clean them as well, but what we can scrub off from the surface may not be as deadly as what is lurking inside. Imagine if our eyes were like microscopes and we could peak inside the chemical content of the vegetable or fruit that we prepare for our babies. You could be shocked to know that there are many harmful chemicals, such as traces of the pesticide, fungicide and fertilizer still lingering on this supposedly healthy food.
We may be doing more harm to them than good. That’s why giving our children organic food would be the best thing to do. Organic baby food doesn’t have the harsh chemicals that were used when they were just growing. They are all and the only truly natural food that can be trusted to the fragile body of the child. Because the immune system of babies is not that strong yet, we should only provide them with food that they can handle.
This goes the same as for the milk they drink. Organic milk provides numerous more health benefits than ordinary powdered baby formula. Organic milk for instance has seventy percent more of Omega-3 that non-organic milk. Each nutrient that they can get is badly needed to help them in their development. We should be the ones providing these for them as they can’t do it for themselves obviously.
Doctors say that breast milk is still best for a baby, that’s true, but not every mom has the time to do it. Also, have you considered that if your body is polluted, you may pass it on to your baby? So wouldn’t it be just logical that you too should be taking in organic food? If what you eat has severely tainted your body, these chemicals can get into your milk and be passed on to your baby, which in turn can do harm to the babies body.
It is but natural that we worry about the state of our children, especially when they are just babies. As parents we have the responsibility to keep them healthy and to fight their battles for them as they can’t do it for themselves. There are now many horrible diseases in this world and a lot of things can trigger them. We may not be able to fight them all, but if take on the more obvious causes; we have a bigger chance of winning.
