Choice is creation. In every choice we have the power to create our future. The choices we make today determine the quality of our life tomorrow. If you want to be healthy, fit, joyful and vibrant, you absolutely must make choices that produce these results. We decide our health and the quality of our life by the lifestyle we choose. We live in an orderly universe which follows laws. One such law is the law of cause and effect. Absolutely nothing happens without a cause. Disease has a cause. Vibrant health has a cause. We cause sickness or health in ourselves through our daily choices. Do the things that cause disease and you end up sick. Do the things that cause vibrant, beautiful health, and that is what you get. It doesnt happen any other way. We are not the passive recipients of ill or good health. We are the active creators of ill or good health. Society is Sick In our society we are encouraged to make food and lifestyle choices which destroy health. We are encouraged to eat meat, milk and processed food. A diet based on the muscles and milk of animals and the processed food of multinational corporations makes humans sick. We are encouraged to do as little as possible. A sedentary, cubicle sitting, TV watching, car commuting, elevator taking, docile lifestyle makes humans sick. If

    I’m on month 2 of a vegan diet. I am still finding myself feeling very weak during swimming. What would you recommend I eat prior to exercise to prevent this annoying wave of lethargy. To be honest I never had that when I ate meat.

    I would suggest eating something your body can use for energy quickly, something like fruit. Eat it an hour or so before you swim. Since you are only on month 2 of a vegan diet your body is still adapting. I felt weaker when I first became vegan too. It lasted a couple months and then went away. Now, 16 years later I am stronger and healthier than I ever was while eating meat.

    I’m doing well :) Dabbling a bit into Chinese medicine and playing more music than I ever have. Although, I feel the urge to slow down and make more time for youtube videos. It’s been a while. How are you?

    Sounds great. Did you know Kirsten has a Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine? If you have any Chinese medicine questions she is a great resource.

    I am doing well. The summer has been wonderful, busy and fun. I am beginning to lament winter. It is getting colder and colder on my morning bike ride to work, In the summer I wear shorts and a t-shirt. I am up to long pants and a turtle neck.

    Is there anywhere on the net to hear your music?

    Wow that’s great! I do remember reading that she has a Masters in Chinese medicine. I’ll definitely keep that in mind.

    Yeah it’s getting pretty cold here too for the most part. Today surprisingly we had an incredibly humid and hot day.

    As for my music… My band and I took down our old songs from our myspace because our new tunes sound way different, so there’s nothing there at the moment. We will be uploading a new track and a music video we just shot, very soon! myspace . com / courtesyblush
