What environmental factors contribute to obesity? Kelly Brownell of Yale University is the Public Health Director at the Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity. He explores causes and prevention of obesity and other nutrition problems. Very nice video, thanks! We are addicted to food by default. It’s interesting that obesity, once considered as a sign of good wealth, is now considered as a sign of poor health:-)

Excellent talk. Establishing “optimal defaults” seems to be a very reasonable goal. I wonder, however, whether lobbyists will ever let the governments (not only in the U.S.) pass the necessary legislation.
