    love this video:)im sure it’ll help alot of people…i wanted to repost my response to johnny here on this viedo too,in case it might help someone overcome the craziness of food obsessing.-
    just wanted to say i have also done an 801010 challenge&can honestly say i never felt more healthy,more awake,more alive&more energy than on living 811..but i too had to quit it! LOL its soooo freakin hard to not eat cooked food.i want a darn slice of bread sometimes

    &other things like a hot meal for dinner.a slice of pizza or God forbid a pepsi lol! its so hard to live raw vegan fruitarian 811. it really does become this insanely obsessive way of life just living on raw fruit&veggies.it becomes a totally OCD diet.&u begin to look at all food that isnt oragnic fresh fruit&veggies like its total poison&that u may as well as not eat,unless its 811.skipping meals cuz u got not fruit avail.or not eating fruit that is avail bcuz it isnt organic

    its sooo true!i can so relate..luckily i realized quite quickly as a raw vegan that i needed to give myself PERMISSION to not always HAVE to be organic,or raw,..&that it was OK, PERFECTLY OK to NOT eat PERFECT:)

    so thats how i crossed from raw back to cooked,that first bite-was a mixture of all u mention-emotional craving,just giving in due to lack of will power,but also seeing the danger of the state of mind that was consuming me&that i needed to give intomy craving.&yeah there was disappointment in not fulfilling mygoal of complete 40day 811challenge.i hatequitting stuff.i hate failure.but i realized-guess what,no food can be perfect in this unperfect world&neither am i perfect&itsOK

    cuz life is so much more than obsessing bout food.its bout enjoying life,&family&friends&hanging out eating normal meals,fellowshipping with others,not being an insane food phobia freak.thats what i was becoming.when my aunt would come to my door w/her hot home cooked meal to bless me w/a meal made with love-me not being a moron&telling her i cant eat it cuz i only eat fruit lol.i cant tell u how many love meal offerings from family i had turned down.&hurt their feelings.sad..

    &finally i think its all about having balance.-food wise-emotionally-mentally-spiritually.i trust my life is in Gods hands.butalso take care of my body that God gave me.i eat tons of fruit&veggies&still mostly organic,but i also eat a cheeseburger when i want one&enjoy a pizza w/my family on movie nights.hangout w/friends@the awesome mexican restaurant&try to make healthier choices when i can.&sometimes not at all&just say screw it.i’ll eat what i want&enjoy my dinner tonight.:)

    overall i know im a quite healthy person,food wise&in all theother catagories too.whats funny is that im also a personal trainer too,so that throws in a whole other aspect too lol.life really is about balance,for me it seems like im a raw vegan 811′er a few times a week,a vegetarian the other days of the week&a meat eater another1or 2 days outta the week.lol.but primarily i really do eat healthy&tons of fresh fruits&veggies but i WONT let it control my life&mind in a crazy way

    @coffeefreakzzz while people’s feelings are important, they must also allow poeple to be who they are. if someone’s body feels best on fruit and veggies, and they bring you a steak, they must know that you refusing a steak has nothing to do with THEM, it has to do with your own integrity of feeling healthy. people who truly care for and love you, and also have a good sense of self, will understand this.

    @coffeefreakzzz 811 is only obessive if you feel limited by it. some people.. it expands their life and their whole world feels free and open. so, it depends on the person. i dont think its about the diet; i think its about the person, and their mental state while doing the 811. :)

    Recently started on a raw food diet but having some difficulties in transitioning :-P I have watched your videos and let me just say you are funny and intelligent. Really cool to watch. It is refreshing to listen to you after so many videos of “wonderful fabulous perfect positive” things to say about raw which just make you wonder that something might be wrong with you ;-) Thank you for the honesty!

    @neuronia thank you so much for the feedback and for following our vids :) glad you dig em! :) we have a book we wrote that helps people transition called the Healing patch cookbook. available on our website. it is not a prescription for how to eat, but rather a chance to look at where you’re at and intuitively where you wish to go…just an idea for ya!

    The ones that think about food the most are the ones that are not getting enough…

    Read ‘the great starvation experiment’ or ‘mans search for meaning’ by Viktor Frankl.

    He talks about how the POW’s would constantly ‘obsessing about food’..

    If we stay up at night think about food we clearly are not eating enough carb calories… :)
