Natural Hair Growth Concoctions

These are 2 concoctions that I absolutely love. Depending on your hair type you may need to add or reduce the amounts for your hair. My Veggie Glycerin Spray recipe ( I use this twice a day making sure to get this on my scalp) 2-4 oz. Veggie Glycerin (.50/16 oz) 3-4 oz. Aloe Vera Gel (.2 /32 oz.) 8 oz. Distilled Water 2 heaping tablespoons MSM powder (.78/8oz) 20 drops Peppermint EO (.50/1oz.) 20 drops Rosemary EO (.50/1oz) 10 drops Lemongrass EO (.50/1oz) optional, I like the smell Scalp Oil (I mix this in an eyedropper bottle and apply one eyedropper full to my scalp once to twice a week) Equal parts Emu Oil(16.99/4oz vitaminworld.com), Hemp Oil (.00/8oz FromNatureWithLove.com), Black Seed Oil (.00/4oz FromNatureWithLove.com), Vitamin E oil (.00/2.5oz) 10-20 drops Peppermint EO 10-20 drops Rosemary EO You can add your own carrier or essential oils but this is the basic formula that I use. Tea Tree would be a good one to add if you have scalp issues. *All the ingredients I found at my local health food store unless I have the website noted) My hair is growing like a Weed!!! However, individual results will vary. And please discontinue use if your scalp gets red or feels irritated. Good Luck

Hey love your hair, will your concoctions work on very coarse hair? My hair has not really grown and I have been natural but wearing braids. I want to take out the braid and go natural but I am just concerned about the coarse texture and what to actually do with it.

    Where to buy MSM powder?

  8. pjames19711 says:

I purchased all items and currently using them. For the spray, especially, I use once perhaps twice a day and I must say that my hair is very soft at the roots. I hair is braided so I am using it on my scalp and some down the braid when my hair ends. I braided my hair approx 3 weeks ago and because it is braided, I will be able to detect how fast my hair is growing. I will let you know. Right now, I am loving it!!

OMG, I had to share this… Minus the MSM powder… This is a Multi-Purpose Spritzer… Not only is it good for your hair… But, it makes a great Body moisturizing Spritz and or facial spritz… Just change the essential oil… Or your favorite fragrance oil… After I wash face with clay I spritz this on face and it leaves face with a youthful glow… People keep telling me I have a glow about me…. Blessings….

Thank you so much for sharing. I wasn’t sure if MSM was safe (something I read years ago – stupid)
Anyway, I really appreciate you taking the time to put up this video and share your experience.

I started mixing the msm powder in my own version of a liquid leave-in conditioner. My natural new growth grew from from 1/2″ in late Feb-mid March to 2″ maybe 2.25″ as of June 10th!!! Thanks bornasiatic1! I’m still trying to get the last of my ingredients for the hair growth oil. Since I took your advice on the msm powder and liked the results, I’m going to quickly get the rest of the ingredients for the oil. Be blessed!

Do you use the vege glycerin mix for moisture or strength too?
Is the emu oil a protein?

  17. Electra709 says:

Do you find that spraying the (MSM) concoction in your hair,is the most efficient method.I myself am planning on making my own recipe as well.I only wish to apply it to my scalp, and that maybe a tad difficult when I spray it on.Do you always add distilled water to your method. Please tell me you have ever added emu oil,to your msm concoction.I’ve read that emu oil is a carrier oil,and I would not wish to have any adverse effects from the msm, when or if it is mixed with emu oil.

I have been using this spray for a month and my hair has grown about a 1/2 inch. thank you love it and my hair seems to be much stronger.

  19. HJKelley47 says:

Love your videos. Will definitely try both products. Since I have some of the essential oils, it should be easy purchasing the other products. Question: Do you still use the Qhemet Biologics along with your own home made products. I have type 4c, thin, dry brittle hair. The Indian powders together with my conditioner has helped to stop breaking. Would welcome any additional insights.

  23. shicken3111 says:
