    I was wondering what people think about the fact that raw veggies and fruits have a number of helminth and other parasitic eggs on them. Nori is actually one of the most highly contaminated sources of parasites. Nori can harbor a particularly nasty parasite called a fluke which can infect your lungs, liver (most often), and brain (very rare). Just a paranoid microbiologist putting that out there. By the way parasites can withstand very low PH so pickling doesn”t help. They are very resistant
