Welcome To My Kitchen – Alternative Natural Body Products

www.hebrewbaby.weebly.com Making alternative body products in my home is something that I’ve tried to remain committed to for the last couple of years. Although toxins are everywhere…in the water, the soil, the food, the air, and just about all the household products and furniture we have in our homes, I believe it’s still important for each of us to do whatever we can do reduce the amount of toxicity that circulates throughout our bodies. Unfortunately, even in most health food stores chemicals abound due to the solvents that are used during the processing of the foods and products. Most of the recipes used in this video are recommended by Hulda Regehr Clark in her book “The Cure for All Disease”. She has a listing in the back of her book with reliable “chemical-free” companies that you can purchase everything from herbs, to household products, etc. At the end of the day, I’d have to agree with her recommendations of living with as little as possible…because with everything we bring into our homes, we bring along the chemicals they carry as well. Shalom Family!

Great video, I was always curious what Borax actually was. I had no idea you could use it to make soap.

I used vinegar, water and tea tree oil for the kitchen and bathroom. Maybe 1/4 vinegar the rest water and about 15 drops of tea tree oil.

Apple cider vinegar rinse in your hair as conditioner, take out all the film from shampoos and extra oil production but doesn’t stripe the hair of oils.

And, always olive oil for skin care! I usually put some on before bed, or before my shower.

Thanks! Yes, we learned of borax reading the book “The Cure for All Disease” by Hulda Clark.

Glad you mentioned the apple cider vinegar, we actually do use it as a hair conditioner…and it works wonderful! I may try that vinegar, water and tea tree oil mix though. Good to try new things.

    Peace

This is a great video :-)
Here’s another cleaning spray that you’re probably familiar with already (great for glass & other cleaning):
—Vinegar (dissolves mineral deposits, plus good for bacteria & germs)
    —Water
    —Peppermint Essential Oil

    Baruch Shalom!

I realize the main focus was body products, but you mentioned using the Spray for bathroom cleaning so I wanted to ask:

Do you have an alternative to dish washing liquid that you could reccommend? (Or would that be a whole new demo???)

    Thanks in Advance!

    Thanks!

Well, basically it’s like this…anything we use to clean our home we technically should be able to use for our bodies. Perhaps the formula just being a little bit stronger for housecleaning purposes.

For the dishes, I use hot water only…cuts grease just fine. Water is the most optimal solvent for cleaning. I have a container of borax on the sink in the case that I need to scour anything that is tough to get off.

I use a borax, washing soda, dr. bronners bar soap recipe for our laundry

  19. hebrewbaby says:

as of recently…but before that just used borax and baking soda if I needed it.

And I use borax and baking soda for the bathroom as well. Just a much stronger solution…and disinfect with the sanitizer recipe in the video. I usually try to keep a very large bottle for that purpose.

    Think that’s about all!

dr. rabb in l.a. also suggests strong acid water from the kangen machine to clean as with as well too. my mother always used as do i, distilled vinegar and cream of tatar for tubs and sinks too. give thanks queen!

  21. hebrewbaby says:

Hmm, strong acid water from the kangen machine? I’m not sure if I’m familiar with that…

Thanks for sharing, I’ll google it…

    IMHOTEP SSTR:

so for washing our clothes today i used the borax about 2 cups, a cup of baking soda, a cup of alcohol and 4 drops of pure lemon oil. anything else that i might add or omit? could i sqeeze a couple of shots of dr. bronners liquid peppermint castille soap along with this?

hi sister. what do you think of ammonia for cleaning the home? is it safe? also, you could use bentonite clay as a toothpaste. it is wonderful! cant the salt deteriorate your teeth over time?

  24. hebrewbaby says:

Ammonia is toxic. Bentonite clay I’m unsure about. I believe it really depends on the purity of the clay. Most clays sold as bentonite a mixes and I’ve read that it actually dehydrates rather than replenish.

We have recently made some changes from our tooth cleanser and use Dr. Sebi’s tooth powder, which is basically all herbs.
